After purchasing the James L. Cooney Insurance Agency in Lowell in 2015, we began working with the long list of valued personal and business customers the agency has served over two generations. Remaining in the historic (1891) St. Peter’s Rectory building for five fantastic years, we are now excited to be a part of the Thorndike Exchange.

The former home of Thorndike Factory Outlet and Comfort Furniture, Thorndike Exchange is a transformation of old mill space into a thriving mixed-use campus. Conveniently located just minutes from major interstates, our new location is also adjacent to the Gallagher Transit Terminal, offering direct access to Boston, and just steps away from downtown Lowell.

Engaging with our community has always been a core part of who we are, as we continue to devote our time and philanthropy to the greater Lowell area. These relationships include supporting the Merrimack Valley Food Bank, Merrimack Repertory Theatre, Boys & Girls Club of Lowell, Lowell House, and Rotary Club of Lowell, to name a few.

Finally, we recognize that both our Lowell office and Manchester, NH office are adjacent to the Merrimack River that flows from the headwaters of Lake Winnipesaukee out through the North Shore to the Atlantic. That is our service territory and we’re proud to say we’re serving The Communities of the Merrimack Valley.
