Smart Talk for Business Leaders: Leadership Series 3 of 3: How to Outperform and Outlast the Competition
The Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce is proud to bring you this monthly program to help you grow and reach your goals in a supportive and energizing environment! Each month, a maximum of 20 business leaders will come together to discuss various topics in a virtual roundtable environment. An experienced facilitator will run each meeting, but the focus is on you! Bring your issues, skills, and experience to the table as the group members help each other work through challenges, provide constructive feedback, and share best practices for greater success!

A typical agenda will include brief introductions, 45-50 minutes of facilitated discussion on a given topic, and 5-10 minutes to reflect on goals or what you will do next given the conversation.
This month's focus: Leadership Series 3 of 3: How to Outperform and Outlast the Competition
Change or risk survival. Today, the spoils and riches go to those people and organizations that can constantly adapt to new and better ways of doing things. Whether it’s embracing technology, responding to competition, penetrating new markets, or finding better ways to serve customers; the winners understand change and how to adapt to get results. Topics in this seminar include:
- How to exploit change for maximum growth
- The 4 reasons why people resist change and how to overcome them
- 5 strategies for organizational change
This is the third of three Smart Talk Leadership Series seminars offered in March, April, and May. Join us for any or all three, as they are not dependent on each other.
About Your Facilitator: Virginia Crocker Timmins, founder of Soundboard Advisors LLC, is a certified business and executive coach, speaker and professional facilitator dedicated to helping individuals and organizations achieve improved results and higher levels of success. A piano soundboard represents an inside-out transformation, where the string vibrations inside the instrument are converted to the music we hear on the outside. In an analogous manner, Virginia applies inside-out, structured, and tailorable development methods. This approach creates behavior changes that enable people to tap into their full potential, become more effective, achieve success, and sustain purpose and balance in their lives. Virginia has over 33 years of experience in large company, small business, entrepreneurial, turnaround and non-profit environments guiding individuals and organizations through complex and dynamic situations to successful outcomes. She delights in bringing leadership groups such as this together to help us be our best for ourselves and our organizations!
