The Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce is proud to bring you this monthly program to help you grow and reach your goals in a supportive and energizing environment! Each month, a maximum of 20 business leaders will come together to discuss various topics in a virtual roundtable environment. An experienced facilitator will run each meeting, but the focus is on you! Bring your issues, skills, and experience to the table as the group members help each other work through challenges, provide constructive feedback, and share best practices for greater success!

A typical agenda will include brief introductions, 45-50 minutes of facilitated discussion on a given topic, and 5-10 minutes to reflect on goals or what you will do next given the conversation.
This month's focus: Leadership Series 1 of 3: Creating a Compelling Vision - The First Step to Great Leadership
Theodore Hesburgh, former President of Notre Dame University, said, “The very essence of leadership is you have to have a vision. It’s got to be a vision you articulate clearly and forcefully on every occasion. You can’t blow an uncertain trumpet.” Do you have a clear, succinct, and energizing vision? If you could exploit your strengths and overcome your weaknesses better than your competitors, what would that mean to your organization’s future? In this seminar we will take a deeper look at:
· What a vision is
· The vital functions a vision plays in your business
· How to create a compelling vision that inspires
· Conditions that could derail your organization
· How your vision ultimately ties to your organizational goals and performance.
This is the first of three Smart Talk Leadership Series seminars offered in March, April, and May. Join us for any or all three, as they are not dependent on each other.
About Your Facilitator: Virginia Crocker Timmins, founder of Soundboard Advisors LLC, is a certified business and executive coach, speaker and professional facilitator dedicated to helping individuals and organizations achieve improved results and higher levels of success. A piano soundboard represents an inside-out transformation, where the string vibrations inside the instrument are converted to the music we hear on the outside. In an analogous manner, Virginia applies inside-out, structured, and tailorable development methods. This approach creates behavior changes that enable people to tap into their full potential, become more effective, achieve success, and sustain purpose and balance in their lives. Virginia has over 33 years of experience in large company, small business, entrepreneurial, turnaround and non-profit environments guiding individuals and organizations through complex and dynamic situations to successful outcomes. She delights in bringing leadership groups such as this together to help us be our best for ourselves and our organizations!
