Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce: The Greater Lowell Chamber of Commerce is all about business! We cover the communities of Billerica, Chelmsford, Dracut, Lowell, Tewksbury, Tyngsboro and Westford. The Chamber works hard to provide our members with resources, advocacy and information, along with networking and marketing opportunities. There are many free benefits of being a member of the Chamber including mixers, radio and television appearances.
 
SBA: The U.S Small Business Administration (SBA )was created in 1953 as an independent agency of the federal government to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns. SBA offers help in the following areas: Counseling, Capital, Contracting, Disaster Assistance and Advocacy.
 
Greater Lowell Workforce Investment Board: The Greater Lowell WiB is comprised of employers, educational providers, labor groups, municipal and state officials and community-based organizations dedicated to providing leadership, direction and accountability for the local workforce development system in Lowell and the surrounding communities of Billerica, Chelmsford, Dracut, Dunstable, Tewksbury, Tyngsboro and Westford.  We identify and manage workforce development grants targeted to assist job seekers, including youth and dislocated workers; provide referral guidance and technical assistance to businesses on the Massachusetts Workforce Training Fund to train incumbent and new workers; serve as a point of contact for labor market and economic data; interface with elected officials regarding workforce development policy; and oversee workforce related funding in the Greater Lowell Region.
 
Operational Services Division: OSD administers the procurement process by establishing Statewide Contracts for goods and services that ensure best value, provide customer satisfaction and support the socioeconomic and environmental goals of the Commonwealth and by providing specific operational services.
Merrimack Valley Small Business Center:

Merrimack Valley Small Business Center: The MVSBC works to assist individuals in creating, sustaining and expanding small business and entrepreneurial ventures.  MVSBC provides one-on-one counseling, a series of trainings, and a variety of seminars and workshops on small business issues.  A program of Community Teamwork, Inc., the MVSBC works in close collaboration with the City of Lowell’s Division of Planning and Development, Middlesex Community College, and the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
 
SCORE: Score is a national organization of 9,000 plus volunteers dedicated to counseling Americas small businesses. Our membership both men and women have varied business backgrounds coming from small business ownership or from corporate positions. We offer business advice in areas such Manufacturing, Finance and Marketing. We offer this advice both face to face and email counseling. There is no charge for these sessions.
