Coffee Hour w/ Powertown USA
Join the GLCC for an informative coffee hour with Powertown USA, a new Chamber member helping Massachusetts businesses reduce electricity costs and unlock new revenue through innovative energy storage technology.
During this session, you'll learn how Powertown's behind-the-meter "Powerblock" systems help commercial and industrial facilities lower demand charges, stabilize energy costs, and generate passive income through grid participation—all with no upfront cost, no operational disruption, and no equipment to manage. Powertown finances, installs, operates, and maintains each system, allowing businesses to share in the savings without taking on the investment.
Fixing our grid presents one of the largest wealth creation opportunities in American history. And it does not have to be complicated for businesses. In honor of America's 250th anniversary, Powertown is working with the Greater Lowell region to build a civic and affordable electric grid in the Commonwealth.
The company is funding Powerblocks for 20 selected businesses across Greater Lowell’s industrial base. Each Powerblock is refrigerator-sized, zero upfront cost for Chamber members, and directly provides 1-3 months off your annual electric bill from reducing your demand fines.
Whether you operate a manufacturing facility, warehouse, commercial building, or other energy-intensive business, this Lunch & Learn will provide valuable insights into how emerging energy storage solutions can improve your bottom line while supporting a more resilient electric grid.
Coffee & refreshments will be provided, and there will be plenty of time for questions and networking with fellow Chamber members. We look forward to seeing you there!
