This session features Pete Lally, President of Spectacle Management and Lowell Management Group.
Pete Lally founded Spectacle Management in 2012 after having gained valuable venue management, event booking and marketing experience at a variety of venues over the previous 15 years. Spectacle Management has promoted concerts, theatre, comedy and family entertainment in 13 venues across 5 New England states. Lally also produced concert engagements for Disney’s Disney In Concert at venues nation-wide from 2015 - 2017. Immediately prior to starting Spectacle Management, Lally was Director of Marketing and Booking at Lowell Memorial Auditorium from 1999 to 2008, and General Manager of Lowell Auditorium from 2008 to 2013. Lally is Vice-Chair of the Executive Board of the Greater Merrimack Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau and sits on the executive board of the Lexington Chamber of Commerce. Since 2005, he has been a professor of music business at UMass Lowell. Lally holds a Bachelor of Arts in music business and a Master of Arts in communication from the University of Miami. In 2018, Lally also founded Lowell Management Group Inc, which manages the city-owned Lowell Memorial Auditorium.
